Data and access

Team collaboration

Invite devices, share app changes, manage paid capacity, and understand removal.

Share an app

Team connects approved Zymorph installations so they can use the same app and share its records. Each device keeps a downloaded local copy. Model-provider charges are separate from Team billing.

  1. Open Share workspace on the owner’s device.
  2. Set up Team with prepaid capacity for the owner and invited devices.
  3. Create an invitation code and pass it privately to the recipient.
  4. The recipient chooses Join workspace in Zymorph and enters the code.
  5. The owner reviews and approves the requesting device.

Codes are short-lived and single-use. Receiving a code alone does not grant access. Invitees do not create a Zymorph account or pay through Stripe.

Capacity and billing

Each activated installation uses one seat, including the owner. Team starts at two seats: $5 per installation per month or $50 per installation per year. There is no trial.

Joining never silently purchases seats. The owner reviews the immediate charge and recurring total before confirming added capacity. Seats become available after payment is confirmed. Capacity reductions take effect at renewal; the owner chooses which devices remain active. Removing a device frees its existing seat without automatically reducing purchased quantity.

Work together

Create and edit records as usual. Shared records catch up when devices reconnect. Device display preferences stay local.

The owner changes the app through chat and publishes a Shape to distribute that app version. A source checkpoint is local history; publishing shares source changes. A complete Recovery point also protects data. See Recovery, checkpoints, and Shapes.

Payment suspension

An unsuccessful renewal has a single seven-day grace period after the paid period ends. When paid access and grace expire, remote collaboration pauses. Downloaded data, local app use, export, and local Recovery remain available. Repairing payment restores eligible devices’ collaboration; pending edits can catch up with current authorization.

An unpaid initial purchase or unsuccessful seat increase grants no new capacity. Cancellation keeps access through the paid period.

Remove a device

The owner can permanently remove a device. Its future access and synchronization are blocked, and restarting it does not undo removal. The removed installation shows Access removed for the affected shared workspace.

Removal cannot erase data already downloaded to another device. Those files remain until that device’s user explicitly deletes them, although the removed shared workspace is no longer usable through its normal app view. Returning requires fresh enrollment, a new invitation, and approval; it differs from repairing payment suspension.
