Designs

Choose a visual direction, change it later, and restore the previous design.

Choose a starting design

The first-launch and new-app screens show the available designs. A design gives Zymorph a visual starting point—spacing, typography, components, and overall character.

Choose the option that feels closest. You do not need to predict the finished interface.

Change a design

  1. Open the app you want to change.
  2. Select the palette control above the conversation.
  3. Choose a design from the catalog.
  4. Select Use this design.
  5. Wait while Zymorph updates and checks the app.

Zymorph prepares a safety checkpoint before applying the design. If it cannot prepare or verify the change, it leaves or returns the app to the previous design.

Restore the previous design

After a successful design change, reopen the design chooser and select Restore previous if you prefer the earlier direction.

This is intended for the most recent design transition. For a larger sequence of source and data changes, use a Recovery point instead.

What a design changes

A design can change:

  • visual style and color direction;
  • typography, spacing, and density;
  • the appearance of forms, tables, cards, and navigation;
  • how the interface adapts to available space.

It should not change the purpose of the app or intentionally delete its working data. Still, try the main workflow after changing designs and report any behavior that no longer works.

Ask for design refinements

You can refine the selected design through conversation:

  • “Keep this design, but make the page less dense.”
  • “Use warmer colors and clearer section headings.”
  • “Make the form easier to use on a small laptop.”

Use Point at UI when the request concerns one visible element.
